Russia’s AvtoVAZ car output to fall 14% to 470,000 units in 2015

SAMARA, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- Russia’s biggest carmaker AvtoVAZ’s car output will decrease 14% to 470,000 units in 2015, the Russian Engineering Union said Tuesday citing AvtoVAZ CEO Bo Andersson.

“We will produce almost 470,000 cars this year. This is 14% less than last year,” Andersson said.

The company plans to raise its share on the Russian car market to 36% in 2015 from 30% in 2014, he also said.
